Borrow and Try an
Assistive Listening System

Has your congregation been thinking about purchasing an ASSISTIVE LISTENING SYSTEM?

Are you asking yourselves these questions:

  • What should we buy?
  • Will it work in our sanctuary?
  • Will it help our congregants?
  • Is it worth the expenditure?
Identity-based Ministries' Office of Accessibility Concerns has created an 'Assistive Listening System Demo-Kit'.

This self-contained, shippable equipment can be borrowed by a congregation to try out for free - you only have the cost of shipping.

We will send you 2 brands of FM transmitters, and receivers (with ear speakers, head phones, ear buds, and neck loops) that can be used in a variety of settings, with or without an existing sound system.

The equipment is portable, and so this Assistive Listening System Demo-Kit is also available for use at district meetings and other UU functions.

Contact Identity-based Ministries - Click here to email Identity-based Ministries - for more information and to be put on the schedule for this church year.

Ask about our "Small Room" Assistive Listening Demo-Kit outside the sanctuary, for meetings and RE classes. Light and portable, this equipment is used without a sound system.
