The very nature of the Equual Access organization, with members with widely disparate accessibility issues, dictates that there be a mechanism for like-minded people to share ideas and experiences. This mechanism is a Caucus. It is also possible to have local organizations working on accessibility issues.

Caucuses:

A Caucus may form around a specific disability affinity such as blindness, deafness, and mental health. Members may belong to more than one caucus. If you are interested in forming a new caucus, click on the "Start a Caucus" link on the sidebar, or email info@equualaccess.org.

Local Organizations:

Groups may also be formed by members of a congregation or district who wish to work together on accessibility issues. Such a local organization does not have any formal ties with the larger, national Equual Access organization, but if it would like to have its projects listed on this Equual Access website, and thus have its work known by others it can notify the Equual Access president.
